Is it best to be treated with braces or by other systems that are invisible?

The most cost-effective system for young children is the traditional metal braces. If appearance is a concern, substituting ceramic braces for metal ones is possible, but it incurs additional cost.

Patients who have lost all their primary teeth may be treated invisibly by Invisalign or by iBraces. In the earlier days, these appliances were recommended for adults only. But as improvements are made in 3D imaging and materials, anyone with a full complement of permanent teeth can be treated with either system. All orthodontic appliances have inherent strong, as well as, modest capabilities. It is not uncommon to briefly use more than one appliance, for a specific movement, in the course of any treatment.

Once active treatment is over, retention is critical to retain the corrected tooth positions
